Over 370,000 business entities in almost every country are managed on Athennian to automate workflows for ownership, company secretarial, governance, tax, and compliance.
We are seeking an experienced Partner Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and operationalizing our global partner ecosystem. This position will focus on building scalable processes and programs for managing partnerships through to execution, particularly with enterprise legal technology providers and other strategic partners in the corporate legal and compliance space. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration, go-to-market execution, and long-term success with Athennian’s partners.
As the Partner Manager, you will lead the operationalization of our partner programs in co-ordination with key stakeholders, enabling partners to drive value and achieve shared objectives. This role will require strong strategic thinking, operational expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams. This role will require cross-functional work with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Strategy, Product, and Operations to build a comprehensive blueprint for success with key partners. This is a full-time position that will report to the Chief Growth Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, operationalize and execute on Athennian’s partner ecosystem strategy, ensuring scalable processes for onboarding, enablement, and ongoing management.
- Lead, in conjunction with Strategy, Sales and Marketing leaders, the creation of structured partner programs that include joint go-to-market plans, enablement frameworks, and operational workflows designed to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within strategic partners to ensure alignment, mutual value creation, and consistent contribution to Athennian's revenue and the partner’s goals.
- Drive partner pipeline and ARR, holding accountability to Athennian's revenue goals through partner-oriented initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of partner initiatives and integrations.
- Establish and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track partner program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure technical and sales enablement materials are current, accessible, and effectively utilized by partner organizations.
- Serve as the operational lead for partnerships, managing day-to-day coordination of tasks and dependencies across teams.
- Identify and address gaps in internal processes to drive efficiencies and improve collaboration between Athennian and its partners.
- Support revenue growth by working closely with sales teams to influence and close partner-driven opportunities.
- Travel to key partner locations and events across North America and Europe.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, or business development in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Proven track record of developing and operationalizing scalable partner programs that deliver measurable results.
- Strong technical understanding of software integrations and APIs, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable programs.
- Exceptional operational and organizational skills, with the ability to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience in legal technology, compliance, or governance solutions is preferred, but not required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to take initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Proficient in designing and executing joint go-to-market plans and tracking performance metrics.
- Skilled in navigating matrixed organizations to align cross-functional teams around shared goals.
Location: We have embraced a distributed model of working to reach the best talent in the world. While some roles may require proximity to our Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver offices, roles based outside our office locations can be remote.
