The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our clients' team within their specialist nursing service near Worcester. We have both temporary ongoing and permanent contracts available for both day and night staff.

The service can accommodate residents from the age of 18 upwards with functional mental health conditions (not dementia) that require rehabilitation or have long-term care needs. It can also accommodate people with acquired brain injuries, Huntington's and physical health conditions.

If you are an experienced support worker, ideally with a moving and handling qualification who welcomes variety and enjoys developing new skills we would like to hear from you! Applications from Support Workers with different specialisms and varied levels of experience are welcomed as we feel this aids the team to provide cohesive individualized tailored care which enables the residents to be as independent as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Work is on a rota system over two weeks, hours TBC.
  • You will need to be a flexible employee as you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as per the rota.
  • Supporting individuals to lead an active life as much as possible.
  • Helping individuals with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing and washing.
  • Bathing and assisting with toileting where necessary.
  • Assisting with mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
  • Promote mental and physical activity through talking, encouraging and engaging in activities and hobbies.
  • Helping with meals, setting tables and trays, preparing light meals, serving meals, and feeding customers who require assistance.
  • Support with cleaning, changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning and emptying commodes.
  • Helping with laundry.
