Knowledge and working experience with US and/or Bermuda STAT and US GAAP for reinsurance/insurance companies and life/annuity products and bulk annuity/pension risk transfer.
Experience with accounting for life insurance and annuities.
Experience with U.S., Bermuda, and UK regulatory regimes and reporting including EBS framework, RBC, and Solvency II.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query preferred.
Current knowledge of Oracle, Essbase, and Hyperion preferred.
Experience using Workiva (Wdesk) for financial reporting is preferred.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and demonstrate adaptability.
Perceptive self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once.
