As an Assistant Chef at Aria Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of food service and meal preparation within the home.

Located in a quiet residential nook in March, Cambridgeshire, our home boasts a cinema, hair salon, and multiple dining rooms. Beautiful gardens provide a bounty of home-grown fruit and veg. About the role: Reporting to the Head Chef, the Assistant Chef will support the team by ensuring the catering services and residential dining experience is of the highest standard and quality.
Salary: £13.70 per hour.
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing a high-quality dining experience by promoting choice and dignity to the residents of the home with the services we provide.
- Liaise with residents to ensure they are happy with the food and beverages being delivered within the home.
- Ensure the nutritional content of the meals provided cater for the dietary needs of all residents.
- Assist the Head Chef with all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years catering experience working within a kitchen environment is essential.
- Exposure to working within a care environment is highly advantageous.
