We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Regional Clinical Manager to join our leadership team and help us continue delivering outstanding, relationship-centred care across our homes. This is a highly visible and influential role, providing expert clinical leadership, guidance and assurance to our Home Managers and Clinical Care Managers, and ensuring our residents receive the very best care, every day.
About the role:
As Regional Clinical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening clinical practice and governance across your region. Working in partnership with operational leaders, you will support, coach and inspire clinical teams to deliver safe, effective, person-centred and dementia-informed care that meets and exceeds regulatory and professional standards, including CQC KLOEs. You will lead quality assurance activity, support learning from audits and governance processes, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and compassion across our homes.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, with 1-in-6 weekends on call and occasional other weekend work as required.
Location: Regional role based in our 7 homes located in Peterborough, Cambridge, Kings Lynn, Ipswich and March.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide visible, supportive and inspirational clinical leadership across the region to support and develop our Home Managers and Clinical Care Managers to lead confident, competent and compassionate clinical teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and excellence in clinical practice, escalating risks and sharing learning appropriately.
- Lead and support clinical audits, governance activity and action planning, ensuring improvements are embedded and sustained.
- Support recruitment, induction and ongoing development of clinical leaders, helping individuals achieve their full potential.
- Act as a role model for Athena's values, behaviours and professional standards.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- A passion for care β weβre looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Experience in a similar senior care position in care homes is desirable.
- Audits and Quality management experience.
- Proven track record for leading, empowering, supporting & motivating a team.
