As an Activities Lead at Aria Court Care Home, you will take the lead in inspiring, motivating and guiding our activities team to deliver fun, creative and meaningful experiences for our residents. At Aria Court, we’re all about creating special moments that matter.

About Aria Court Care Home

Following a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is a modern 92‑bedroom home equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

Nestled in a peaceful residential area of March, Cambridgeshire, our home offers a cinema, hair salon, welcoming dining spaces and beautiful gardens overflowing with home‑grown fruit and vegetables.

Our award‑winning kitchen team even published their own cookbook, showcasing the passion and creativity that runs through everything we do. As one of March’s leading residential care homes, Aria Court is committed to delivering the very best care in a safe, supportive and comfortable environment.

About the role

The Activities Lead (known internally as Lifestyles Lead) plays a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy stimulating, enjoyable and person‑centred activities every day. You’ll plan, organise and promote a varied programme that supports independence, wellbeing and inclusion, while reflecting the principles of excellent clinical, dementia and person‑centred care.

Working closely with your team, you’ll encourage every colleague to be part of the activities programme, making sure our residents’ lives are enriched through connection, creativity and choice.

Salary

ÂŁ13.21 per hour.

Shift Pattern

36 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading the Activities Team to create and deliver engaging events and activities that residents and their families will love.
  • Promoting dignity, respect and independence through high‑quality, meaningful activities.
  • Building genuine relationships with residents, understanding their interests and supporting their wellbeing.
  • Contributing to quarterly residents’ and relatives’ newsletters to keep our community connected.

Training, Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience planning and coordinating events or activities, ideally in a care or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of others.
  • Knowledge of dementia care is highly desirable.
  • A proven ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
