About the role:
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Salary: £12.71 per hour.
Shift Pattern: 32.25 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance to the cleaning schedule, ensuring the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene are maintained.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
- To actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
