About the role

Leading our Housekeeping team, the Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

30 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage overall responsibility for support services within the home for laundry and domestic housekeeping.
  • Support the management team in the recruitment, induction and training of the support service team; ensuring training targets are met and team is competent in their roles.
  • Manage rotas, budgets, stocks and reporting duties for the Housekeeping department within the home.
  • Support, lead, manage and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.
  • Training, Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, with proven experience successfully managing a team, budgets and targets.
  • A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
