Athena is currently looking for a Food and Beverage Manager with strong Food and Beverage / Banqueting experience or a Conference and Banqueting Manager looking for a General Manager role.

Our client is an established conference, banqueting and leisure venue with a solid track record in Weddings, Banqueting and commercial conferences and they are looking for a manager capable of managing the operation and all additional services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and support to all departments, conference, banqueting, leisure provision
  • Reporting to a Board of Directors
  • Development and management of Duty Management team
  • Management and development of employees in all departments
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all bars and catering operations
  • Ensure a consistent first-class service to guests
  • Ensure that company high standards are adhered to
  • Ensure all sales activity is monitored in line with company policy
  • Monitor key departmental controls responsible for Sales, GP and NP targets
  • Monitor and comply with all company and legal statutory requirements
  • Support the company in the achievement/maintenance of quality awards
Key Attributes:
  • Previous experience as General Manager, Food and Beverage, Conference and Banqueting Manager, Operations Manager, Hotel Manager in similar-sized branded or independent hotel operations
  • Demonstrate the ability to build on existing business adding value

Salary of £50,000- £60,000, dependent on experience. Opportunities for professional growth and development.
