Athena Sports Group is seeking a full-time Digital Content Creator to join our Marketing Communications team. This position will support overall efforts to drive visibility, awareness, and engagement for the teams. It will be based at Athena Sports Group’s office in Portsmouth, UK, and will involve regular international travel.

Working across the America’s Cup, SailGP and Athena Pathway programmes, you'll help tell the stories of world‑class athletes, cutting‑edge technology and purpose‑driven initiatives, creating content seen by audiences around the globe.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce, capture, edit high-quality video and photography that reflects tone of voice and visual identity.
- Support content planning and contribute ideas for upcoming campaigns, events and content opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial & Partnerships team to create sponsor content.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, platform features and best practice across social media and digital storytelling.
- Organise, catalogue and maintain photo and video assets, ensuring content is easily accessible and archived appropriately.
- Create platform native vertical content for Instagram reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Assist with content creation and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Support the tracking of engagement metrics to continually improve content performance.
- Degree, apprenticeship, relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience in content creation, media production or digital communications.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience editing content for multiple digital and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with After Effects, CapCut, Blender or other motion design tools or a desire to develop is desirable but not essential.
- Experience creating content using both professional camera equipment (Sony FX3, FX6 and A7 Cameras) and mobile devices.
- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and visual communication skills.
- Proven editing experience with examples of completed projects.
- Experience in both video and photographic capture.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in sports media capture – sailing knowledge not essential.
- Applicants should provide a portfolio, showreel or examples of recent content work.
