Role Outline

We are looking for conscientious and motivated Installation Electricians to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness.

Working across our entire portfolio of projects, generally within the renewable energy, defence, nuclear and manufacturing sectors, the post‑holder will be an integral part of the electrical team and the role will provide a challenging and rewarding career.

  • Primary Accountabilities / Duties
  • Installation of industrial and commercial systems ensuring installations are to manufacturer standards.
  • Ensure good quality workmanship that upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements.

Provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer questions in a professional manner.

  • Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
  • Role Requirements
  • City & Guilds 2360, Installation work and regulations.
  • City & Guilds th edition electrical installations.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with safety rules, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Ability to assess risk and take appropriate action including consulting supervisors.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Problem‑solving skills are essential, along with the ability to make decisions.
  • Self‑motivated, able to take the initiative.
  • Have a confident but respectful manner with the tact necessary to safeguard the Company’s interests, whilst appreciating the client’s position.
  • Security Clearance (either already holding or being able to satisfy the requirement).
  • JIB approved/improver status.
  • ECS card holder (ideally).
  • Must hold a current UK driving licence.
