What You’ll Do:

  • Leading the design and specification of LV and HV systems
  • Developing protection and control schemes, schematics, and cable calculations
  • Managing delivery from concept through commissioning, including client and contractor coordination
  • Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior engineers
  • Ensuring compliance with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, CDM, and project-specific standards
  • Supporting power system studies (load flow, fault level, protection coordination) where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience in regulated or safety-critical sectors (e.g., energy, infrastructure, nuclear, defence)
  • Strong grounding in electrical engineering design and delivery
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Amtech, ETAP, or similar software
  • Experience with or interest in power system studies (desirable)
  • IEng or CEng registration, or working toward it
