We\’re searching for an experienced UK-based UI/UX Artist to help us on client projects ranging from indie to AAA.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director to ensure menus, HUDs, and interactive systems not only look great but feel effortless to use.

We are looking for someone capable of working across multiple genres, including fantasy, sci-fi, and more in a semi-realistic to realistic art style.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create visually compelling UI assets (menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, overlays, etc.)
  • Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and other artists to develop user flows and wireframes that enhance player experience
  • Animate UI transitions, feedback FX, and in-game reactions
  • UI/UX design skills such as wireframing, prototyping, animating, etc
  • Create stunning User Interface art assets that are flexible, efficient, and in a variety of styles
  • Stay up to date with current trends in UI/UX and apply best practices in game design.

Requirements

  • UK-based Only – we cannot provide VISAs at this point
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Artist, in the video game industry
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, UX flows, and visual polish within interactive media
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
  • Motion graphics / animation experience for UI transitions and effects
  • Understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and user-centered design
  • Ability to prototype and communicate design concepts clearly
  • Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience with console and mobile game UI optimization
  • Basic knowledge of implementation in Unreal Engine
  • Passion for video games and understanding of various genres’ UI conventions
