The predicted salary is between 950 - 1167 £ per month.
We are searching for a new Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be working closely with the Home Manager and Kitchen Team to support the chefs in producing high-quality, well-balanced meals for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Supporting production in all areas of the kitchen
- Adhering to the HACCP procedure according to Athena’s Food Safety Management Documentation
- Maintaining the kitchen hygiene and support with opening/closing down procedures
- Producing sandwiches, cakes and buffet items with the guidance of the duty chef
- Supporting chefs to ensure minimum wastage
- Actively participating in discussions, with the kitchen team, to improve the service
- Understanding the function of due diligence paperwork and record food, freezer & fridge temperatures
