As a Head Housekeeper at Avocet Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of cleanliness within the home.

About the role: Leading our Housekeeping team, the Head Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.
Salary: £13.19 per hour.
Shift Pattern: 30 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location: Monmouth Close, Ipswich, England, IP2 8RS.
Key Duties Responsibilities:
- Manage overall responsibility for support services within the home for laundry and domestic housekeeping.
- Support the management team in the recruitment, induction and training of the support service team; ensuring training targets are met and team is competent in their roles.
- Manage rotas, budgets, stocks and reporting duties for the Housekeeping department within the home.
- Support, lead, manage and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.
Training, Skills Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position, with proven experience successfully managing a team, budgets and targets.
- A passion for care; we are looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
