About Avocet Court Care Home: Situated in a residential nook in Ipswich, our 115‑bedroom Avocet Court Care Home is surrounded by beautiful gardens. As one of the top residential care homes, we provide exceptional standards of care. We’re proud to have an award‑winning activities team and a newly refurbished café that is the heart of our home. About the role: The Clinical Care Lead will lead the clinical team on providing strong clinical knowledge, leadership and management to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship‑centred care, clinical care and dementia care.
Salary: ÂŁ24.27 per hour
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week. 12‑hour shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location: Monmouth Close, Ipswich, England, IP2 8RS.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for clinical care in the home.
- Lead care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents’ care.
- Lead, coach, support and inspire the clinical team to deliver outcomes for the home.
- Ensure that an outstanding level of relationship‑centred care, dementia care and clinical care is being delivered within the home.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified RN/RGN/RMN.
- Minimum of two years’ shift leadership and management experience.
- Has extensive experience working with those living with dementia, and a dementia qualification is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a clinical team.
