As a Housekeeper at Aria Court Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service within the home.

About Aria Court Care Home:

After a recent refurbishment, Aria Court is now a sparkling 92-bedroom care home with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Located in a quiet residential nook in March, Cambridgeshire, our home boasts a cinema, hair salon, and multiple dining rooms. Beautiful gardens provide a bounty of home-grown fruit and veg. The kitchen team at Aria Court are award-winning and have even created their own cookbook full of their best recipes.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Salary: £14.24 per hour (includes a 12.1% uplift in lieu of accrued holiday pay).

Shift Pattern: 18 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance to the cleaning schedule, ensuring the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene are maintained.
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
  • To actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.

Training, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • A passion for care – we’re looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
