As a Receptionist at Amberley Hall Care Home, you will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, face to face or via the telephone to the Home.

All of our team at the purpose-built, 106-bedroom care home are ready to welcome residents with their compassionate and caring attitudes.
About the role: Reporting to the Home Admin Manager, the Receptionist will ensure that the overall presentation of the reception provides a friendly, welcoming and professional image of the home so that all visitors to the home feel welcomed.
Salary: £12.71 per hour.
Shift Pattern: 15 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location: Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, England, PE30 3DQ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including, responding to emails, copying, faxing and taking notes.
- Ensure that residents receive their post and prepare all outgoing post on a daily basis.
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Home Admin Manager.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience working within a receptionist position is essential.
- Working within a care home environment is highly advantageous.
- Excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of and competence in Microsoft Office applications and Windows based operating environments – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer.
