As a Housekeeper at Langdon House Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service within the home.
About Langdon House Care Home: Langdon House is an exceptional residential care home in Cambridge. At Langdon House we pride ourselves on our family-feel, attractive gardens and providing outstanding care to each of our residents. We are based in a quiet nook in Chesterton on the north eastern side of Cambridge, three miles from the city centre. Our home offers fantastic 24-hour care to up to 51 residents.
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. £14.24 per hour. Please note: the advertised hourly rate includes a 12.1% uplift in lieu of accrued holiday pay.
Shift Pattern: Flexible shift pattern across Monday to Sunday.
Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance to the cleaning schedule, ensuring the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene are maintained.
Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
