About the Role: Reporting to the Home Admin Manager, the Administration Assistant will ensure the reception area provides a friendly, welcoming and professional image at all times. You will also support the Home Admin Manager with a variety of administrative tasks, such as answering enquiries, responding to emails, and postal duties.
Position Information:
- Salary: £12.71 per hour.
- Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, worked across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis.
- Home Location: Goodwins Road, King's Lynn, England, PE30 5PD.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all front desk activities, including answering calls, providing information, redirecting calls or taking accurate messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
- Assisting the Home Admin Manager with payroll tasks, such as setting up new starters, recording absence and annual leave, and processing leavers.
- Supporting the Home Admin Manager with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, ensuring they are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
- Handling enquiries, preparing and sending out brochures, and responding to and sending emails.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous administrative experience desirable; knowledge of finance and/or HR procedures is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service, communication and IT skills, ideally Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a "can‑do" attitude.
- Confidential handling of personal and sensitive data at all times.
