About The Role
The Activities Lead, known internally as Lifestyles Lead, supports the provision of meaningful, enjoyable, engaging and stimulating activities which are planned, organised, promoted and implemented in the Home for all residents in line with the principles, policies, procedures and best practice guidelines for person centred care, clinical care and dementia care.
The Activities Lead will proactively engage with and support the activities programme within the Homes. They will provide support to ensure that all team members know about and are engaged in the activities programme.
Salary
£13.21 per hour.
Shift Pattern
37.5 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Coronation Close, March, England, PE15 9PP.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading our Activities Team to deliver unique, creative and interesting activities and events which resonate with and engage our residents and their loved ones.
- Providing a high level of quality activities for our residents – promoting dignity, respect and independence.
- Engaging with residents in meaningful conversation and genuinely understanding their needs.
- Supporting putting together quarterly residents & relative’s newsletters for the home.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Experience of organising and scheduling programmes of events or activities, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of our residents.
- Knowledge of dementia is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record for leading, empowering, supporting & motivating a team.
