As our Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for completing painting, decorating and minor repair work across all homes within the Athena group, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within a timely manner. You will work closely with teams in each home, playing an important role in maintaining environments that our residents and our team members are proud to live and work in. This role is based around Cambridge and requires travelling to support our care homes within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all painting and decorating work across the homes is completed to a high standard.
  • Address snagging items promptly and efficiently.
  • Respond to requests from home teams regarding painting, decorating and wallpapering.
  • Carry out minor repairs where required within the scope of the role.
  • Ensure all equipment and working environments are safe and compliant at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in all aspects of painting, decorating and wallpapering.
  • Ability to consistently achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good record-keeping skills and ability to complete relevant paperwork accurately.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
