We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to become part of our Early Years team. Required from September 2026, we wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible individual to join Team Athelstan.
Responsibilities
- Support groups of children or individuals, inside and outside the classroom.
- Enthuse, inspire and motivate children to learn.
- Commit to the educational and social development of children and raise their attainment.
- Maintain a proven record of good or outstanding practice.
- Work effectively as part of a team under instruction, using initiative and while working independently.
Qualifications
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant experience (essential).
- Experience with SEND (desired).
- Experience working with Read, Write, Inc (desirable).
Contract Details
32.5 hours per week on a 39-week contract. Hours of work will be discussed at interview.
