The Marketing and Communications Manager reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for the Marketing and Communications Officer, playing a key role in implementing effective marketing and communication campaigns.
As Marketing and Communications Manager, you will plan and deliver marketing and communication campaigns to drive ticket sales and revenue, nurture the audience base, and collaborate within the venue and with ATG\’s central Marketing team. You will serve as the main contact for producers, media, and marketing agencies in campaign development and execution, and identify sales opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue.
The Grand Opera House York is a receiving house with an eclectic programme including major west-end musicals, drama, music, and comedy. Recent and upcoming shows include Friends the Musical Parody, Six, Alan Davies, Prima Facie, Operation Mincemeat, and Cinderella. Over the past 18 months, we have marketed some of the biggest UK touring shows, including Dear Evan Hansen, Nina Conti, Only Fools and Horses the Musical, and Hairspray.
