Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a part-time, experienced Automation Dep on the London production of The Book of Mormon. Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional theatre experience in automation, the ability to work under pressure and within a team, and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities.
Responsibilities include:
- The maintenance and operation of the automation equipment for the production
- The Tait Chameleon system
- Covering the deck plot
- Working within a team to ensure that the show’s automation requirements remain true to the original concept
Experience on a large-scale production is desired, and experience of Tait systems would be preferable. Candidates must be highly organised with good communication skills. There will be no contractually agreed minimum hours.
