We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and self-motivated individual to join the highly collaborative and friendly back of house team as Deputy Head of Stage at the Playhouse Theatre.
This role offers the opportunity to lead stage and building requirements, support a long-running production, and oversee building maintenance projects over the coming year. You will support the Head of Stage in the daily technical operations of the theatre, assist with get-ins, fit-ups, and get-outs of new productions and visiting events, and help maintain the theatre's facilities to ensure high standards for visiting companies.
Successful candidates will be clear communicators, able to work closely with the Head of Stage, Technical & Building Manager, visiting companies, venue team, colleagues in London theatres, ATG's central services, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves technical work and department management, with regular evening and weekend hours expected.
