We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Commercial Finance team on a six-month fixed-term basis, based at our Shaftesbury Avenue office in London. The role will partner the Hospitality Director and the UK Chief Commercial Officer to support commercial decision-making across the Hospitality function and drive financial performance during a period of new initiatives aimed at increasing cash margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner the Hospitality Director and the UK Chief Commercial Officer to support commercial decision‑making across the Hospitality function.
- Work closely with the Hospitality team to deliver rigorous commercial analysis, including venue performance, food and beverage profitability, cost‑efficiency analysis and operational‑efficiency insights.
- Interpret financial insights and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Champion best practices in commercial finance and business partnering.
- Support the UK Head of Commercial Finance on transformational tasks and strategic initiatives across the business.
Qualifications
- Background in retail is essential.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post‑qualification experience in commercial finance roles.
- Experience in a similar commercial finance role within a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment, able to hit the ground running and deliver at pace from day one.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with a track record of driving transformation and embracing change.
- Exceptional leadership and team‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders across geographies.
- Resilient, adaptable and proactive mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, financial systems and data‑analysis tools – a must‑have.
- Experience with D365 is desirable; familiarity with TM1 Planning Analytics would be a further advantage.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate analysis and drive sharper commercial insights.
