With teams across the UK, EU and US, our mission is to lead the digital transformation of the auctioneering industry through technology and commercial expertise.We are seeking an English and German speaking talented, ambitious and commercially minded individual with sales experience to join the UK & EU Art & Antiques marketplaces division. Working closely with the Head of Art & Antiques, you will grow and protect advertising revenue across a portfolio of new and existing auction house partners using Lot-Tissimo and Antiques Trade Gazette. This role is based in our London office.This is a relationship-led, target-driven sales role: you will proactively win new business and deepen existing accounts, using data and insight to build trusted, long-term partner relationships while consistently hitting revenue targets. You will work alongside Client Partner Managers to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, presenting together to key partners across the industry with genuine exposure to director and executive-level stakeholders within the auction houses you support and be confident presenting data-backed marketing reviews and recommendations to prospective and existing partners alike.Key Responsibilities New Business & Lead Generation• Proactively identify, research and generate new business leads, using data, market insight and prospecting tools to build a strong sales pipeline.• Source and qualify leads through outbound calling, networking, referrals and research; conduct discovery calls and present tailored advertising solutions.• Re-activate dormant or low-spend accounts, growing engagement and annual advertising spend.Existing Partner Growth & Relationship Management (with Client Partner Managers)• Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing partners, working closely with Client Partner Managers to identify upsell, cross-sell and retention opportunities.• Present alongside Head of Art and Antiques to key partners in the industry, gaining direct exposure to director and executive-level stakeholders within the auction house.• Support Client Partner Managers in pitching and selling digital marketing and print advertising to existing partners, driving incremental and repeat revenue.• Identify renewal and repeat business opportunities by analysing partner campaign, audience and spend data.• Maintain and grow revenue from allocated accounts, ensuring consistent spend and improving campaign performance over time.Data-Led Insight, Presentations & Delivery• Analyse campaign, audience and market performance data to evidence the commercial benefits of advertising and support proposals.• Confidently present marketing reviews, performance summaries and advertising recommendations to new and existing partners.• Prepare proposals, media recommendations and quotations with commercial accuracy; monitor competitor and market trends.Pipeline, Targets & Reporting• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets across digital and print advertising.• Accurately forecast revenue and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.• Produce regular sales reports and prospect updates, meeting publication and campaign deadlines while managing multiple accounts.Key Contacts:Internal• Reports to: Head of Art & Antiques• Works closely with: Client Partner Managers, Production, Marketing, Sales Support & Admin teamsExternal• New business prospects and existing partners across the UK, EU and international markets, where requiredKey Requirements • Proven track record in sales, ideally within advertising, media, publishing or digital marketing, including new business and account growth experience.• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insight into compelling commercial recommendations.• Confident, engaging presenter, comfortable delivering marketing reviews and advertising recommendations.• Target-driven yet relationship-focused, combining resilience and ambition with genuine care for long-term partner success.• Strong communication skills; written, phone-based and face-to-face, with the ability to build trust quickly.• Competent in CRM systems, Microsoft Office & Google Workspace, and digital/data tools.• Organised and motivated self-starter, skilled at managing a pipeline, prioritising workload and working to deadlines.• Collaborative team player, able to work closely with Client Partner Managers and wider internal teams.• Fluent in German & English (essential)• Proficient in French (desirable)Other:• This role is a full time (Monday - Friday, 9:30 - 17:30), hybrid role requiring the candidate to be based 2 days a week in our London officeEmployment Type PermanentDurationBusiness Name ATG UKFunction Name Sales #J-18808-Ljbffr
