The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of FP&A in supporting financial planning and performance management globally. The role includes aspects of commercial finance and will involve partnering with C-suite functional leaders to solve problems and support value creation. It will include aspects of financial management, helping develop business cases for investments and understanding how the group best uses available cash and funds investment opportunities. It also includes support for managing our borrowing facilities through lender relationship management, covenant reporting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will also support the execution of acquisitions, including diligence, financial modelling, and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation of monthly financial reports for the board and management team, and external reporting to investors and lenders.
- Support preparation of financial reports, including budget/reforecast presentations.
- Develop and improve the budgeting and forecasting infrastructure, ranging from revenue/cost models to 3-statement financial models.
- Support forecasting, integration planning, and execution for recent and future acquisitions, including implications on leverage and group financing, and integration of acquired businesses into the existing reporting structure.
- Support one-off projects/analysis, including hypothesis setting, scoping, and presentation of findings.
Key Requirements
- CIMA / ACA / ACCA
- Previous experience in a mid-level FP&A or commercial finance role in a multi-entity, multi-geography company
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Experience with Excel add-ins that interface with reporting systems (e.g., OneStream XFGet or Sage SEI) – are an advantage
- Strong eye for detail and desire to understand the numbers
- Drive & energy to deliver to deadlines for demanding internal/external stakeholders
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and take ownership
- Excellent communication skills
- Nice to have: Either existing capability or appetite to learn deeper analytics skillset (e.g., SQL). Internal experts available.
