Job Summary
We\'re seeking a skilled and proactive Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. This role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial cleaning equipment—especially ATEX-certified vacuums and high-reach pole systems. You\'ll work primarily from our Northampton workshop, with occasional site visits.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair industrial vacuum systems and cleaning equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks
- Support equipment installations and commissioning
- Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with operations to ensure timely equipment turnaround
- Assist in equipment testing and quality assurance
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
- Respond to issues with practical solutions—no excuses, just action
Qualifications
- Experience in electro-mechanical engineering (industrial cleaning equipment preferred)
- Familiarity with ATEX standards (advantageous)
