Criminal Solicitor – Full-Time (Office-Based)

Atesh Solicitors is a well-established and expanding criminal defence practice based in North London. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Criminal Solicitor to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced solicitor looking to develop their career within a dynamic, supportive, and client-focused environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload involving all aspects of criminal defence work, including police station attendances, Magistrates’ Court advocacy, and Crown Court preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising and representing clients at the police station, Magistrates’ Court, and throughout proceedings
• Managing files from initial instruction through to trial and sentence
• Preparing Crown Court cases, including liaison with counsel and the instruction of experts
• Ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards of case management and client care

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ or above)
• Police Station Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedure
• Excellent advocacy, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive and reliable approach to casework
