Overview
Ateneu, West London, United Kingdom, is hiring a Head Concierge to work on a residential development. The Head Concierge is responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, its staff, security and services for the benefit of all residents.
Salary: Β£35,000 per annum
Rota: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness and safety of all public areas.
- Interact with residents in a courteous, professional and helpful manner at all times.
- Report any breaches of security or damage to the relevant authorities.
- Report repairs and issues raised by residents.
- Arrange rosters/holiday cover.
- Delegate tasks as appropriate to night shift concierge, security staff or cleaners.
- Coordinate training, including health and safety awareness.
- Conduct weekly feedback discussions between the manager and relevant concierge.
- Be aware of and manage all visitors and contractors on site.
- Regularly monitor all access control systems.
- Be fully conversant with site manuals, operating procedures, and operation of communal M&E items; refer omissions to the Property Manager.
- Identify training needs from manuals and liaise with the Head of Facilities.
- Be aware of approved company policy regarding lift emergencies, specifically the release of trapped passengers.
- Make regular backups of access control/IT systems.
Experience / Qualifications
- Strong administration and communication skills (written and oral).
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Ideal candidates will have previous residential or 4-5* hotel backgrounds, at a similar level.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
