Live-in Carer Opportunity – 5 Week Rotation (Start: Early May)

Client Overview
The client is a female living with Alzheimer’s disease and has recently returned from a care home. She is mobile and enjoys walking indoors, often wandering around the hallway, so supervision and safety awareness are essential. She is non-verbal and communicates through sounds and mumbling. She requires patient, attentive, and respectful support throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Full assistance with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene)
- Support with incontinence care
- Meal preparation and assistance with eating
- Encouraging fluid intake (she can hold a cup but cannot use utensils and eats with her fingers)
- Supervision during movement and walking around the home
- Providing companionship and ensuring safety at all times
Client Needs
- Mobile and enjoys walking indoors
- Requires continuous supervision due to wandering behaviour
- Needs structured and calm daily routine
