Requirements
- Proven, hands‑on experience implementing and configuring SAP Business One end to end, including taking a system through UAT and go-live personally.
- Demonstrable configuration expertise across Finance, Sales, CRM, Stock/Inventory (batch and serial), Purchasing, MRP, Service, and Production modules.
- Beas Manufacturing configuration experience, including Product Configurator, APS, and shop‑floor terminals.
- Boyum experience, including Usability Package, Print & Delivery, and CRM for Outlook.
- Strong command of the Data Transfer Workbench and data validation and migration.
- Proficient in SQL / HANA SQL query writing, SAP Query Manager, Crystal Reports, and building or amending document layouts.
- Confident diagnosing and resolving UAT issues and configuration problems, and comfortable building on an existing partner‑configured system.
- Experience in a manufacturing, bespoke, made-to‑order, or luxury goods environment is desirable.
- SAP HANA / AWS-hosted deployment familiarity is desirable.
- UK financial compliance and Making Tax Digital experience is desirable.
- BPA Codeless Platform integration experience, and exposure to Adobe Commerce (Magento), Route Management (Stream), Solid Works CAD/BOM, and payroll/HR APIs (Moorepay, Bright HR) is desirable.
- Relevant SAP Business One certification is desirable.
- SAP experience: 5 years required.
Responsibilities
- Complete and refine configuration across in‑scope modules including Finance, Sales, CRM, Stock Management, Purchasing, MRP, Service, and Production.
- Finalise and optimise Beas Manufacturing, including the Product Configurator, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, Quality Control, and shop‑floor terminal apps.
- Complete configuration of the Boyum Usability Package, Print & Delivery, and CRM for Outlook.
- Drive the User Acceptance Testing cycle, run test scripts, diagnose and resolve issues, apply fixes and configuration tweaks, and prepare the system for sign‑off.
- Support data migration via the Data Transfer Workbench by validating master data, item and BOM lines through to cut‑over.
- Set up and support Making Tax Digital submission.
- Act as the internal system administrator and first‑line expert, providing user administration, licence management, authorisations, new configurations, and issue resolution.
- Build and maintain Crystal Reports, SQL / HANA SQL queries, dashboards, and document layouts.
- Design and deliver Super‑User and end‑user training, and build internal process documentation and user guides.
- Scope, support, and deliver Phase 2 integrations, including Adobe Commerce, Route Management, Solid Works, Moorepay, Bright HR, OCR invoice capture, banking, and courier integrations.
- Maintain data quality across SAP, Beas, and connected tools to ensure reconciliation across the physical and virtual value chains.
- Build reporting and dashboards aligned to critical success factors and KPIs.
- Work onsite as a hands‑on internal team member alongside our SAP Gold Partner through go‑live and into business‑as‑usual support.
