Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with strong hands-on technical expertise across SEO, paid search, paid social, website performance, analytics, content writing and lead generation. This person will be our internal digital marketing specialist, responsible for developing and executing our digital strategy, identifying opportunities to expand our reach, improving search visibility and campaign performance, and generating qualified commercial enquiries. The role requires someone who can independently analyse performance, diagnose technical and campaign issues, identify commercial opportunities, implement improvements and provide clear recommendations on where the business should focus its digital marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy, establishing clear priorities, campaigns, channels and measurable objectives aligned with the commercial goals of the business.
- Lead the ongoing development and performance of the Ateliers London Adobe Commerce/Magento website.
- Manage and continually improve the digital product catalogue, ensuring product information, imagery, specifications and website content are accurate, consistent and presented to the standard expected of a luxury furniture brand.
- Work directly with developers and technical partners on website development and integrations with relevant digital platforms, tools and third-party systems.
- Set requirements, manage priorities, oversee testing and ensure projects are delivered effectively.
- Continuously improve website navigation, product discovery, page performance and enquiry journeys, making it easier for interior designers, architects, hospitality professionals and trade clients to find relevant information and contact our team.
- Develop and execute the SEO strategy, including technical SEO, keyword research, competitor analysis, search-intent analysis, on-page optimisation, site architecture, metadata, internal linking, product and category optimisation, image optimisation and local search.
- Identify and diagnose technical SEO issues affecting crawling, indexing, rankings, site performance and organic visibility, and work with developers where technical changes are required.
- Research, write, edit and optimise high-quality SEO-focused written content, including website text, landing pages, product and collection descriptions, category pages, case studies, editorial articles, blogs, campaign messaging and email content.
- Conduct keyword and content-gap research to identify new opportunities for organic growth and develop a structured content plan around relevant search demand.
- Ensure all written digital content supports search visibility while maintaining the tone, quality and positioning of a luxury furniture brand.
- Work closely with the R&D team to ensure written, visual and digital content work together effectively across the website and digital campaigns.
- Use website, search and campaign data to identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues and determine where digital investment and effort should be focused.
- Plan, manage and optimise paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Eurostaffs and other relevant channels, taking responsibility for campaign setup, targeting, budgets, keyword strategy, landing pages, tracking, testing and ongoing optimisation.
- Monitor campaign performance, identify why campaigns are or are not delivering results, and continually optimise spend, targeting, creative, landing pages and conversion performance.
- Implement and maintain accurate conversion tracking and performance measurement so the business can clearly understand where enquiries and leads are being generated.
- Work closely with Sales to generate qualified enquiries from interior designers, architects, hospitality professionals and trade accounts.
- Develop and execute targeted lead-generation campaigns, improve website enquiry conversion and create lead-nurturing journeys that support longer project and purchasing cycles.
- Develop and manage segmented email campaigns for designers, architects, hospitality contacts, trade accounts, existing clients and prospective clients.
- Monitor and report on digital performance including website traffic, organic visibility, keyword rankings, enquiries, conversion rates, campaign performance, email engagement, lead quality and return on marketing investment.
- Provide senior leadership with clear reporting and recommendations, explaining what is working, what is not working, why, and what actions should be taken next.
- Manage external web developers, UX/UI agencies and other digital suppliers.
- Establish clear briefs, deadlines and expectations and ensure external partners deliver effectively.
- Identify practical opportunities to improve digital marketing, product-information management, reporting and content workflows through automation and appropriate AI-assisted tools.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- At least five years’ relevant digital marketing experience, with strong hands-on responsibility across digital strategy and execution.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies.
- Strong hands-on technical SEO experience, with a proven record of improving organic search visibility and rankings.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, keyword research, search intent, site architecture, indexing, internal linking and website performance.
- Excellent SEO content writing and editing skills, with the ability to research, write and optimise high-quality digital content independently.
- Proven hands-on experience managing and optimising paid search and paid social campaigns.
- Strong understanding of campaign tracking, conversion measurement, attribution and digital performance analysis.
- Experience identifying and diagnosing underperforming campaigns and implementing improvements based on data.
- Experience managing and improving a substantial commercial website, including user journeys, conversion optimisation and digital performance.
- Experience working with website integrations, digital platforms and third-party tools.
- Strong experience in email marketing, lead generation and conversion optimisation.
- Experience using digital data and reporting tools to identify opportunities and provide clear recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
- Experience working with developers, external agencies and specialist digital partners.
- Strong analytical, project-management and communication skills.
- Excellent written English with strong attention to grammar, tone, accuracy and brand consistency.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento, CRM systems, PIM systems, email marketing platforms, analytics tools and large digital product catalogues.
- Experience in B2B marketing, luxury furniture, interiors, architecture, hospitality or another design-led sector.
