Role Overview
As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will be a key member of our technical team, contributing to the delivery of innovative fire safety strategies across a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including environmental designers, building services engineers, and sustainability consultants—to develop integrated fire engineering solutions that support safe, efficient, and climate‑positive buildings
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure technical quality, compliance, performance, and consistency across all Fire Engineering design outputs.
- Review and approve design deliverables including drawings, schematics, schedules, technical reports, and specifications.
- Coordinate effectively between internal disciplines and with external consultants.
- Take lead responsibility for coordination between disciplines within the office and with external consultants.
- Develop and apply fire engineering strategies using CFD modelling and tools such as Pyrosim, Pathfinder, and CFAST.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Support business development through client engagement and proposal writing.

- Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in delivering fire engineering solutions in the built environment.
- Proficiency in fire modelling software and relevant codes/standards.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., IFE, CEng).
- Passionate about sustainability and integrated design.
