Key Responsibilities

  • Beauty and Fragrance Trend Research: Research emerging beauty, fragrance, lifestyle, colour, material and packaging trends. • Product and Packaging Design: Support the creation and development of product and packaging concepts across fragrance, home fragrance, bath and body, gifting and related beauty categories. Produce sketches, layouts, mock-ups and design visualisations that communicate creative intent clearly. Assist with primary and secondary packaging, gift sets, limited editions and launch-related design adaptations. Ensure design work is aligned with each UK customer brief and the relevant brand identity, while responding to commercial, technical and production requirements.
  • Artwork, Mock-ups and Presentations: Prepare and amend artwork using Adobe Illustrator, working from supplied dielines, specifications and design feedback. Support the preparation of accurate production-ready files under the guidance and approval of the Senior Designer & New Product Development Manager. Create product mock-ups, concept boards, supplier-facing materials and internal design presentations. Maintain organised design files, clear naming conventions and accurate version control.
  • New Product Development and Project Support: Support projects from initial concept through sampling, approval and launch, helping to keep design actions and deadlines on track. Assist with supplier communication relating to artwork, specifications, samples, finishes and design amendments. Review samples and proofs with the line manager, record feedback and coordinate required revisions. Maintain project trackers and follow up on outstanding design and sample actions with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Raise potential design, quality or timing issues promptly and contribute practical solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree-level qualification in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Product Design, Visual Communication or another relevant creative discipline.

  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage several tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to receive and apply feedback positively.
  • Professional written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively both remotely and in the office.

Working Arrangements

The role will initially be worked two days per week. One day per week will be office-based in London and one day will be worked remotely.
