UHNW Private Banker at a leading international Private Bank.

A private banking institution is selectively enhancing its cross-border coverage, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe / Central & Eastern Europe (CEE). This opportunity is suited to an established Private Banker with credible cross-border experience, a well-developed UHNW client franchise, and a preference for operating within a stable, high-integrity platform that prioritises long‑term franchise development over short‑term volume. The role forms part of a considered, strategic expansion, rather than reactive hiring.

The Role

  • Origination, management, and development of UHNW client relationships across Eastern Europe / CEE (ex‑Russia / Ukraine).
  • Operating within a cross‑border advisory model, primarily from Switzerland or London, utilising established European booking centres.
  • Stewardship of a high‑quality client portfolio, with a focus on:
  • Entrepreneurs and business owners
  • Family principals and sophisticated private clients
  • Investment‑led UHNW individuals
  • Close collaboration with internal specialists across investments, structuring, and credit, as appropriate.
  • Contribution to the long‑term development of the regional franchise through disciplined growth, sound judgement, and client stewardship.
  • This is not a transactional or volume‑driven role. The emphasis is on quality, depth, and sustainability of client relationships.

    Candidate Profile

    • Proven experience as a Relationship Manager / Private Banker within a well‑established private banking platform.
    • Demonstrable coverage of Eastern Europe / CEE markets, with strong cultural understanding and client credibility.
    • A demonstrable client franchise with credible transferability, supported by a clear trajectory of continued net new asset generation.
    • Experience operating in cross‑border environments; exposure to Switzerland and/or London is strongly preferred.
    • High professional integrity, sound judgement, and the ability to operate effectively within robust governance frameworks.
    • Relevant regional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

    Why This Opportunity

    • Join a well‑established private banking platform with a long‑term commitment to the region.
    • Operate within an institution recognised for stability, discretion, and depth of advisory capability.
    • A high degree of autonomy within a disciplined institutional framework.
    • Competitive and transparent compensation aligned with contribution and longevity.
    • A selective hiring approach designed to support durable, sustainable franchise building.

    Process & Confidentiality

This search is conducted on a strictly confidential basis, with discretion assured throughout. Initial discussions are exploratory and non‑committal. Qualified individuals are encouraged to engage in confidence to explore suitability and alignment.
