We are seeking an experienced and proactive Venue Electrical Services Manager to oversee all electrical systems and infrastructure within our venue. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical installations, supporting both day-to-day venue activities and major events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all electrical systems, equipment, and temporary installations throughout the venue.
- Lead and supervise electrical technicians and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage project costs and client quotations.
- Co-ordinate electrical requirements for events, productions, and venue operations.
- Manage electrical equipment requirements and work closely with the warehouse when additional equipment is required.
- Maintain maintenance programme of equipment.
- Attend client meetings and production meetings.
- Provide technical expertise and support during emergency situations and fault investigations.
About You
- Qualified electrician with relevant industry certifications and electrical qualifications.
- Proven experience managing electrical systems within a large venue, entertainment facility, stadium, arena, theatre, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Strong computer skills.
- Overseeing pre-event, on-site, and post-event planning to ensure all electrical requirements are met.
- Health & Safety Experience - Nebosh/Iosh.
- Experience leading teams and managing contractors.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required to support events.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
