This program will span from May/June to August 2026.
We have internship opportunities in Transportation Design, Traffic Engineering & Planning, Construction Management, Site/Civil, Water Resources and more.
At ATCS, we believe in providing our interns with a well-rounded and enriching experience. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you\’ll immerse yourself in a multitude of exciting technical and administrative tasks. This diverse range of responsibilities will not only enhance your skill set but also give you valuable insights into various aspects of real-world projects. Plus, you\’ll have the privilege of working alongside our accomplished employees who are eager to offer mentorship and guidance.
Your responsibilities as an ATCS intern will include:
- Collaborating closely with engineers and other team members to support various project tasks.
- Utilizing cutting-edge computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare high-quality engineering and design documents.
- Assisting in the collection, preparation, and analysis of essential project data.
- Exhibiting stellar teamwork by actively participating and contributing to project success.
- Providing crucial administrative support to keep projects moving forward.
- Embracing additional tasks and challenges as they arise, further broadening your skill set
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering or Management, or a related field.
- While previous internship experience is preferred, it is not mandatory – we value your potential and dedication just as much.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as effective communication is the cornerstone of our collaborative work environment.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge or exposure to software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation is a significant advantage and will be highly regarded.
