This Role

Location: Slough, UK
Contract Type: Full‑time, permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Central Point of Contact – act as the main contact person for internal team members and external service providers and ensure smooth communication and collaboration across warehouse and data centre operations.
- Administrative Coordination – support the administrative management of operational information and documentation and collaborate across teams on organisational and operational topics.
- Process Control & Coordination – plan, coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, internal flows); coordinate logistics activities related to data centre operations, including deliveries and on‑site support, and ensure processes are executed in line with defined procedures and priorities.
- Performance Monitoring – monitor team and operational performance using relevant KPIs (e.g., productivity, accuracy, service levels), identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions to optimise workflows.
- Training & Team Development – take responsibility for the training, instruction and onboarding of new employees and ensure adherence to safety, quality and operational standards. Act as a role model by working hands‑on when required.
- Operational & Data Centre Support – ensure high standards in warehouse execution, inventory accuracy and system bookings; oversee documentation, reporting and checklist completion; support and coordinate data centre logistics tasks such as equipment deliveries, staging and basic on‑site activities in collaboration with technical teams.
Requirements:
- Completed training in logistics, warehouse operations or a comparable qualification, alternatively relevant professional experience.
- First leadership experience (e.g., Supervisor, Team Lead) in logistics or operational environments.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and logistics KPIs.
- Hands‑on mindset with the ability to balance operational work and leadership responsibilities.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong organisational skills, team spirit and a proactive approach.
- High awareness of safety, quality and process compliance.
- Willingness to work shifts if required.
- Openness to support data centre operations on‑site when needed.
- Driving licence (Class B).
- Good English required; additional languages are a plus.
