This Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Microsoft D365 Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and customising ERP systems, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and a strong understanding of TMS (Transport Management Systems) or similar systems. This role requires a solid technical background and the ability to configure, customise, and integrate solutions within ERP and TMS environments to meet business needs and optimise operations.
Contract Type: Full-time role with a permanent contract.
Location: Hybrid role open to candidates based in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, or Stockholm.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customise Dynamics 365 modules to enhance business processes.
- Design and implement solutions using Power Platform tools such as Canvas Apps, Power Automate and Model driven apps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilise no-code/low-code development techniques to create efficient and scalable solutions.
- Write and maintain code using JavaScript and PowerFX.
- Integrate and work with ERP systems, preferably in a technical or developer role.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
- Own the end-to-end process of rolling out solutions to the business, ensuring successful deployment, user adoption, and high engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
- Strong technical background with a focus on ERP and TMS systems.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in D365 development or ERP development.
- Experience working in a technical role (e.g., ERP Consultant, In-house) with ERP or TMS systems, not as an end-user.
- Proven experience in 2-3 full lifecycle ERP/TMS implementations.
- Ability to configure and customise Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Power Automate, and Model-Driven Apps.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data modelling.
- Experience conducting training sessions for end-users and creating user manuals.
- In-depth knowledge of business processes and best practices.
- Experience integrating D365 with other systems.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to varying work standards and demands.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
- Capable of completing tasks within required timelines.
- Resilient and able to manage shifting priorities.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience with data migration.
