Atamis is a dynamic and expanding software business located in Cardiff, providing procurement solutions to mainly the public sector as well as some private sector clients.

We are growing rapidly at over 40% per year and our team is continuing to expand to support the growth of the company.

We have a vacancy in the Implementation Team working alongside our Project Managers and Implementation Specialists.

Atamis has a hybrid working model allowing flexible working, however, you would be required to attend the office in Cardiff one a week/as required.

This is a new role within the Implementation Team, created to support our Project Manager as our Implementation Specialists take on greater ownership of smaller projects.

The Project Support Officer will help maintain consistent project management standards across our project portfolio, keeping documentation, reporting and tracking on point so our Project Manager can focus on the larger, more complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support adherence to agreed project management processes across implementation and configuration projects, ensuring key tasks and documentation are completed on time and to standard.
  • Monitor project tracking tools to ensure project status, actions and key milestones are kept up to date.
  • Prepare weekly client and internal status reports, holding regular check-ins with Implementation Specialists to gather updates and progress.
  • Support the Project Manager and Implementation Specialists in maintaining core project documents, including the PID, Project Plan and Action Log.
  • Flag any gaps, risks or delays to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
  • Engage with other Atamis stakeholders (e. g. Client Success Managers, Sales, Finance) as necessary to ensure smooth running of projects.
  • Help maintain and continuously improve project management templates and processes across the team.
  • Required Experience
  • Some experience in a project coordination, administration or support role (software or professional services environment preferred but not essential).
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once.
  • A confident communicator, comfortable running update sessions with colleagues and chasing information to tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with reporting and tracking tools (e. g. project management software, Excel/Sheets).
  • Experience in Salesforce applications or public sector procurement would be advantageous but not strictly required.
