Atamis is a dynamic and rapidly expanding software business based in Cardiff. We provide analysis and management tools to both public and private sector organisations. As the company continues to grow, our team is expanding to meet increasing demand and ensure we continue delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as an Atamis Implementation Specialist. This role is focused on supporting the current platform in terms of features and enhancements from clients. You will bridge the gap between technical configuration and client delivery, playing a pivotal role in defining solution approaches for new implementations and major projects. This position offers a unique opportunity for a confident Salesforce user who enjoys a mix of hands-on system configuration, project coordination, and direct client engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring client requirements are met through robust solution design, effective project planning, and the application of configuration best practices.

Key responsibilities
  • Project Management & Delivery: Take full ownership of project planning and delivery for smaller client engagements. For larger-scale implementations, work collaboratively alongside a dedicated Project Manager to track technical milestones, identify risks, and ensure work is delivered within agreed timelines and budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact during implementation projects, managing stakeholder expectations and securing appropriate sign-off on deliverables.
  • Solution Definition: Define solution approaches for new implementations and major projects, ensuring alignment with Atamis configuration best practices.
  • System Configuration: Undertake configuration activities on customer systems and perform other technical activities necessary to support implementations.
  • Client Delivery: Effectively deliver client-facing engagements both remotely and on-site, including leading solution design workshops and user training sessions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Support the activities of other Atamis functions (Support, Sales, Development) by helping to resolve escalations from Support, Tech Leads, and the Change Team.
  • Scoping & Support: Assist the Professional Services Team in scoping proposals as necessary and provide technical assistance to Customer Success Managers (CSMs) for queries outside the remit of other teams.
  • Best Practice & Improvement: Support and promote Atamis configuration best practice across the business and proactively develop personal skills and knowledge of both Salesforce and the Atamis product.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience running workshops and solution design sessions with end users.
  • Demonstrable experience managing project plans and coordinating deliverables in a structured manner.
  • Comfortable manipulating and analysing large datasets (e.g., Excel) to support data migration and reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Understanding of Change Management principles to ensure successful user adoption.
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working on software implementation or configuration projects (e.g., Atamis, Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba etc).
  • Practical experience with the Salesforce declarative toolkit (objects, fields, flows) or a strong willingness to learn.
  • CIPS qualification (or studying towards) or practical experience of working in a Procurement function with deep knowledge of Procurement lifecycles (e.g., Source-to-Contract or Source-to-Pay).
