About The Role:
- To ensure the safe, satisfactory performance and further development of all contracts and accounts for which he is responsible.
- Take an active role in the management of all quality, environmental and health & safety issues on the site for which he/she is responsible in compliance with company policies and arrange compliance with contractual requirements.
- Ensure the Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance are carried out to the correct specification with regards to both frequency and quality.
- Organise and manage the mechanical maintenance schedule in compliance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.
- Organise and manage external maintenance contractors to ensure mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance schedules are carried out in accordance with current legislation and as detailed in the CAFM system.
- Client satisfaction and the quality of service provided.
- Identifying and implementing innovations to improve service delivery.
- Ensuring continuity of systems in a manner which fully complies with all legal, qualitative, health, safety and environmental standards and other relevant guidance.
- To ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are available as and when required to ensure the effective delivery of the service.
- Assist with Sub-Contractor management and monitoring.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Plumbing is essential.
- Knowledge of Hot Water Systems including Unvented Hot Water Systems would be beneficial.
- Aware of Water Hygiene Management including Legionella prevention.
- Experience in an FM or building services maintenance position would be beneficial.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Good IT/computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
- The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectations.
- Approachable demeanour and a demonstrable commitment to team working.
- Consistently works to a high standard and looks for ways to improve current working practices and processes to meet the needs of the business.
- High levels of self-motivation, technical inquisitiveness, enthusiasm, and commitment.
- A willingness to undertake other tasks outside of your primary skillset, including basic fabric tasks and basic plumbing tasks.
