About The Role:
Apprentice Security Engineer (Electronic Security Engineer)
We are seeking motivated Apprentice Security Engineers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electronic security systems while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Working Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (typically 8am–4pm, but may vary)
About the Role:
As an apprentice, you’ll be trained to install, commission, maintain, and repair a range of electronic security systems including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. You’ll learn how to work safely and efficiently, often independently or as part of a team, while delivering excellent customer service.
Training & Qualification:
– 3-year apprenticeship programme
– Work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Fire, Emergency & Security Systems (FESS)
– Training delivered through blended learning, including block release
– End-point assessment includes knowledge test, practical observation, and professional discussion
– Progress reviews held every 12 weeks

– Fault finding and problem solving
– Industry standards and safe working practices
– Communication and customer service skills
Entry Requirements:
Entry requirements set by the employer
