The Opportunity Retail Sales Assistant

We are looking to appoint a full‑time Retail Sales Assistant to be based in our Cardiff Store and will be required to engage with customers and other team members to provide exceptional customer service through your enthusiasm and knowledge. You will be responsible for driving sales and provide high quality customer service by identifying our customer\’s needs and giving accurate advice for their requirements.

Responsibilities Retail Sales Assistant

  • Delivering exclusive Customer Service through knowledge and inspiring customers
  • Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers
  • Generating new trade leads through telesales
  • Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance
  • Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner
  • Manual lifting when required

Requirements For Retail Sales Assistant

  • Previous experience in similar roles/ environments (desirable)
  • Experience in providing customer service
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in regularly handling customer situations
