Quality Engineer Location: Coventry Rate: £35 – £37 p/h Outside IR35 Duration: 3 months We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support the safe launch and internal PPAP for new projects, ensuring quality throughout production and collaborating with customers and teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead quality activities for project launches and internal PPAP. Resolve quality issues and maintain documentation (First Off Inspections, Q-gates, etc.). Coordinate MSA and capability studies to meet customer requirements. Validate PPAP documentation with the project customer team. Support customer calls, (email address removed), QORL, Reverse FMEA, and other quality activities. Uphold company quality standards and procedures. Skills & Qualifications: Experience as a Quality Engineer (Mechanical Engineering preferred). HNC minimum, degree level preferred. Knowledge of quality systems and problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA). Strong negotiation, analytical, and SPC skills. Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
