An established technical solutions provider is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Design Engineer to support complex, design-led projects across corporate, education and public sector environments. This is a pre-construction, bid-focused role working closely with sales and project delivery teams to develop compliant, commercially viable AV system designs. Travel to client meetings in London and the south east will be required.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of tender bids and pre-qualification submissions
- Designing compliant AV systems aligned to client specifications
- Producing schematics, rack layouts, system drawings and bills of materials
- Preparing detailed technical documentation for project handover
- Liaising with sales, project management and finance teams regarding scope and cost changes
- Participating in client meetings and technical presentations
- Conducting market research into emerging technologies
- Supporting product and design standardisation initiatives
- Contributing to client interviews as part of the bid team
