Providing bespoke engineering solutions across approximately 20 industries, our client has dominated the market for equipment protection and durability. This privately owned business has been operating for more than 40 years, with multiple branches now operating independently in order to provide bespoke solutions to different market sectors.
With Β£3m turnover and a target of 25% sales growth year on year, the business is heavily investing in the development of their industrial business unit. This area of the business is offering a unique solution, meaning there are ample opportunities to make an impact and expand on existing and new business. As a result, they are looking to recruit a Sales Manager with immediate effect.
The role of Sales Manager is a new position within the sales team, offering the opportunity to build and manage your own sales portfolio. Joining one other Sales Manager in the UK and reporting into the Director, this role offers the unique opportunity for a driven sales hunter looking for a role with the autonomy to drive your own success to achieve growth. You will be responsible for:
- Selling unique solutions and services, understanding customer requirements and adapting accordingly to provide bespoke proposals
- Overseeing the sales process from new business development and enquiries through to proposals and quoting, before handing over to internal operations
- Regularly visiting customers across the UK to understand their pain points, seeking opportunities for new business as well as re-engaging lapsed accounts
- Driving the success and growth of your portfolio within the UK in order to achieve group sales targets
To be successful in your application for this Sales Manager role you will need:
